Carl Plucknett
Carl has 20 year of financial management experience in a variety of markets and has more recently focused on technology solutions businesses.
From 1999 to 2007 Carl was with RedSky IT, a hardware and software IT services group, where he worked in a variety of commercially and operationally focused finance roles in different parts of the group driving improvements in business unit performance. As Chief Operating Officer he was a member of the groupĀ's operational board who successfully sold the business in 2007.
Prior to this Carl worked for Unipart International where he was the accountant on the M&A team that acquired PartCo, a listed motor parts supplier. Before this he worked for Robson Rhodes specialising in investigations, forensic accounting and corporate recovery, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1991.
Carl has a proven track record of financial stewardship in private equity funded businesses supporting the growth and strategic business plan. He has an Honours Degree in Mathematics from the University of York, including a twelve month exchange at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and he is currently finalising his studies for a Graduate Diploma in Law in his spare time.
